The SpICE girls an all-female robotics team from North Bay created The Coop, a cage that goes on the end of the intake pipe to prevent organic matter from getting in. Interested in trying it out? Fill out the survey at bit.ly/2Cp4KMC
Want to participate in our Intake Design Challenge? Although we have not been meeting in person, our business team has been meeting virtually to create an online workshop as a live stream. This is a fun opportunity to learn about the design process and basic science and engineering concepts. If you didn’t get a chance to watch our 2702 Rebels
MakeShift mentors and students have been working hard for the last couple of months to support our health care workers by providing face shields, ear-savers and hand therapy barriers. So far, over 550 of our colourful face shield assemblies are in use at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. We are now fulfilling requests at long term care facilities, chiropractors, dentists
