FIRST Team 1305 was approaced by local medical doctors to build a UV Sterilizer Cart to sterlize personal items (ie. phones/keys) and N95 & surgical masks that are currently being reused. We built 2 prototypes that are currently at North Bay General Hospital being tested for their effectiveness. Once official results from the hospital are known, we will post them.
Our warriors need to wear face masks almost 16-24 hours a day. As a result they are suffering a great amount of discomfort and pressure on their ears. We are asking anyone that has access to 3D printers if they can make some Surgical Mask Straps for them to make an already overwhelming mission that much more tolerable.

Team Minkee has printed 10 medical protection visor holders and are Hoping to get 50 done by the end of the week! These visors will be going to Michael Garron Hospital.
